Vasant Kunj Sector E1 is one of the most posh neighbourhoods of Delhi NCR located in South Delhi. DDA in 2019 announced this new residential sector in Vasant Kunj which have more than 1200 flats costing few Crores each unit. This is also the nearest Sector to IGI Airport in Delhi which is just 6 Km from it.

A few Bengali families from E-1 Society, Vasant Kunj, conceived Dakkhin Delhi Cultural Association with tea cups in their hand and a few plates of snacks on a casual evening adda. The idea of DAKKHIN DELHI CULTURAL ASSOCIATION came as these families wished to organise a few cultural festivals to unite with more families from the entire neighbourhood and ensure a connecting point with their traditions and heritage. What would have been a better idea than organising Durga Puja within the society premises- as it offers a splendid opportunity to rejoice and reconnect with one’s soul. The proposed members of DAKKHIN DELHI CULTURAL ASSOCIATION along with few enthusiastic volunteers from the society thus came together under the banner of DAKKHIN DELHI CULTURAL ASSOCIATION to organise the first-ever Durga Puja in E-1, Vasant Kunj New Delhi in the year 2022.
